An excellent move, although this will need to be taken further for the event to earn its title. I think I'm right in saying until this announcement the final has only been held in France and Sweden - not much of a "world" cup final is it? Being the poor relation to the sj and dr world cup finals, in terms of prize money and perception (relative to each discipline), nobody based on other continents ever seemed to have the incentive to travel to it, unless already in Europe for something. So, good, but could do even better!

very happy it goes to eastern europe but not so happy it clashes with the showjumping nd dressage europeans at windsor i think.
and will be interesting to see how many from here will travel, its a fair old hike.
