Seems like even BE are confused by the name changes - Margam Park is running a PN not a BE100...hmmmm!
BTW it makes it a hell of a lot more complex to look down the sechedules now as before you'd get PN and OPN, now you just get BE100 twice with nothing to distinguish them so it looks a bit cluttered and like a typo.
I am probably just being old, but the name changes are awful.
Margam Park is confusing me ... its says its in England , but the postcode is coming up CF36 (Porthcawl) which certainly isn't in England its in Wales ...
The first Training Class (BE80) close enough to me isn't until June !! Looks like the youngster will be going straight into Intro (oops I mean BE90) instead then......
Really really really really really really really really really HATE the name change!!!!! I really hope we've not paid some git in a suit to think it up!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent, just worked out I can easily do 2-3 a mnth without driving for longer than an hour next year.... although will be limited to every 6wks I imagine!!

I really hate the name changes too, it makes the schedule look very messy and is much harder to read.

100% agree, its hard enough explaining the sytem to uninformed, this will make it 10x worse, hate it, change it back BE!!!
Yes, the name changes are a real pain. I actually had to use the 'Find' function on my computer to search for BE 90 as it was so difficult to see what was what...

Even better... it's saying that Turnberry(1) is in England, but Turnberry(2) is in Ayrshire!!!
My aim for next year is to;
a) keep my horse sound enough to get fit enough to run at intro, sorry BE90! (she has managed to injure herself the last two summers on the trot! Both totally unrelated
)
b) get some instruction/training and be brave enough to enter my first ever BE event!
I'd love to do it but have never had the opportunity.
And I can't see any PNRF's listed or even IRF can see some NRF's though, whats going on, and I can only find one military novice lsited at Gatcombe in september, which is so annoying as I remember Oasby and Larkhill and even tweseldown having them early on in March/April. Im gutted.
Name changes are awful - so many repetitions because there is no name for Open classes that it's very confusing - please change it back BE!!
There are some that don't quite seem right - quite a few which are very close geographically to each other on the same weekend or within days of each other.....
Some questions I have in relation to this + FEI calender:
Punchestown is on BE
Central Scotland has no 2* on BE
No Hutton International on FEI-is this the Cumbria one?
I can't see any PNP, or as it could be now BE100plus??
I thought they worked well last year, have they gone or am I just blind?
Edited: just run the filter and found them, it's not easy with these stupid new names!
oh great! Whos' stupid idea was that then? Was there any consultation because I never saw anything mentioned. What an utterly ridiculous system. hmph strop.
