2010 BE calender is released

Interesting for the Scottish events to see two Turnberry's, new event Drumclog (which appears to be doing BE100, BE100Open AND BE100?!

) and no Brechin? (or am I not looking closely enough?!) Wonder why no Brechin?

Wow, a few changes, not to mention "Glanusk International" in June, brand new with a CCI* and running up to OI. This is near me, I'd heard the rumours but wasn't sure if they were true. It is the most gob-smacking venue in stunning parkland in the Usk Valley, on the A40, easily accessible from the Severn Bridge/M50 for all you soft English types
grin.gif
I'm told they are keen to run Adv/3* in the near future - I really hope it comes off as the site would be ideal in every way

I got all excited then as if all the stars and planets align and miracles happen I thought it could be a good one for me. But the schedule says it is at Chepstow Racecourse, so isn't it just the normal Chepstow at a different time of year? If so, I'll still be giving it a miss until the water has been remodeled and I've seen how it rides

carlton is running a novice?
when I was there for the PN in the summer i didnt see anything any bigger? perhaps they've built a new course?

otherwise I've already got my first few events planned

Brechin is there 01/05
Too far north for me I think but used to go to Brechin lots as a child as had family there.

Couple of new ones not too far for me though this will be our first time ever trying BE!! There's a new one in Cumbria early on and one in Northumberland

Woooo, I'm overly excited already!

Chuffed that Turnberry is 1st of the season & great that Greenfields is doing BE too. Its 10 minutes from my house!

I'm suprised to see Askham Bryan is holding a BE90 and 100, went there for PC camp this year and we only had a tiny paddock with a few portable jumps to school in. They must have a BE course stashed away somewhere!

Surprised to see Wolverhampton and Southwell are still listed as 'new' when they both ran last year.

Does anyone know where 'Norton Disney' is (new event in October) - it's not the one in Lincolnshire is it? (That would just be too much to hope for - I could hack there!)

Don't worry, I'm not loopy

that's just if everything goes swimmingly. One was entered novice last year but got a virus so missed EVERYTHING
frown.gif
But no, I shan't be going nothing - ** qual in a season
wink.gif
I would shoot myself for considering it!

And Lisi - yes, we have directions, although not alphabetically organised

to clear it up... glanusk is at chepstow RC... but its 10 miles away from 'the' chepstow... therefore no horrid water but probably similar ground and maybe even designers. It is the U18 champs that were at chepstow, and houghton last year.

K, is that the place they held area SJ a few years ago and my mother braved some narrow bridge in the lorry?

It was a lovely setting and I remember the ground being really goood mid-summer? (Possibly 2006?)
