I thought I would show some pictures from last year
We started the year with a Yard move. Roo went on to grass livery, she took quite a while to settle in as she was on isolation so didnt see much of anyone else.
Looking a bit lost
Soon after, we went for a hack, Roo got kicked and ended up staying on box rest for a week. She coped really well and was soon sound again
In April, after having some jumping lessons, we did a showjumping competition AND WON IT!!!
We went on a day trip with some other liveries, was a fantastic day, 7 of us went for a 3 hour hack around Fountains Abby.
We did a dressage test in the summer, she was so good, we came away with some good constructive criticism to work on.
We did another showjumping competition and bought a couple of professional photos
In September, Roo went lame. She had several nerve blocks and scans, and it was found that she had scar tissue and tendon tear in her fetlock. She was given steroid injections, which didnt really do anything. They made her sound until we tried to ride again.
In November we had another move of yards, she wasnt happy on grass livery so we moved to put her on DIY.
Getting ready to move (mum holding her)
At new yard
Meeting the smallest livery
she also went to Newmarket for an operation.
This is her coming home
Since then she has been on boxrest with in hand walks.
