2011 futurity

I went to watch at arena uk as we have 4 booked into richmond and I think its always nice to go see what else is going through. I arrived to watch the yearlings which didnt start till one - they were running behind by quite a bit and I noticed nobody was trotting the triangle unless the horse didnt show enough trot loose - does anybody know if that is this years format or was it just due Thanks

one of each!! 1st in at 0830 ish and last in at 1630 - great!!

We had triangle at Plumpton too. Disappointing if it wasn't at Arena as should be the same everywhere...

I took my 3yr old to Arena UK and we didn't trot the triangle - I was dissapointed as she has a fabulous trot in hand and was a bit lazy loose.

Actually I lie - My friend is running him up for me so I get to look after her baby instead and watch her being led by Rocky

I was at Hartury and we didnt get to trot triangle had to let foal loose after walk and would she trot ,no ,lots of galloping about and antics but consequently had a poor mark for trot

We presented at Arena - only the mares with foals at foot trotted the triangle in hand with the foals loose everything else was loosed after the walk. To be honest we had 9 entered so it was a blessing this year especially as I was unable to run anything up due to my pregnancy and had to beg borrow and steal friends!!!!!!! Woodcroft stud did a fabulous job of running my mares and foals!!!!!!

The foals in previous years (same as this year) have never trotted in hand around the triangle.

A huge good luck with Rocky, I look forward to seeing our little friend from last year all growed up and gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointing if it wasn't at Arena as should be the same everywhere...

I took my yearling to Arena and I also went to watch at writtle (where they seemed to be walking and trotting inhand before turning them loose) and was dissappointed when it turned out that they were not trotting the triangle at Arena. My filly is better in hand! but she was impeccably (sp) behaved so Im very proud of her!!
