2011 in pics

Passed TDI with B in February, was delighted with him after everything that had happened.

B helped me test my new camera

Failed TDII in March (he didn't pass the start pole ) but met this little chap

In April was offered that little chap so I jumped at the chance

My friends looked after him for me while I was in America and got the chance to visit a club near Denver

B could have been slightly more impressed

May was our big event where the working dogs did a full trial then competed in the showring with the show dogs, which was fabulous

Pup learned focus heelwork

Did a wee bit of bitey stuff with the pup

And then gave him a rest, will start back later this month

B did a bit of search and rescue with his young friend

I went out and did a bit of search and rescue training without him

Went to another show or two

Met the pup's half sister at this one

Pup went to meet Colleen and her gang

B got used to him a bit but is still not a huge fan

Pup proved to be very helpful at bedwarming and soupmaking

And discovered snow for the first time

And that's about it!

Thanks, the fun will really start this year, spent this morning deciding where to go/who to go to first for a few days of getting my ass kicked before, er, I mean intensive training!!! before we start looking to compete.

Sad, but we had a long time together and looking back at the pics reminded me what a lovely time we had this year too. Even in her dotage she still had a lot of fun.

AM LOVING THESE! Love the 'unimpressed B' pics

Our 2011 started badly, in March Daphne broke her leg jumping off a tiny low wall and slipping on landing. She was operated on in Turin and the clinic vet sent this photo of her waking up from the GA:

One month later, she was coping extremely well both with the prolonged crating and with the huge fixator on her leg:

The other dogs were doing fine as always! Peanuts and Beezle in May:

STOP TAKING PHOTOS OF ME!!!!!!

In May, Daphne's fixator finally came off:

June was mostly spent convalescing in Mummy's bed...

And by early July she was running again:

In July, Daphne went on a trip to Venice! She was very well behaved on the Vaporetto (water bus) but did try to chase some pigeons. Here on Rialto bridge:

In August, Florimell and Daphne visited Portofino. Here we are in Santa Margherita Ligure, before taking the ferry to Portofino

August was a busy month for little Daphne. She also went to Germany for the first time, and loved being with horses all day long!

In September, she visited the Bundeschampionate. She loved both the dressage and the eventing competitions, but she got real BORED at the amount of time Mummy spent shopping in the tradestands!!

HOWEVER



One photo has made me scald myself quite badly and caused irreversible damage to my nasal cavities through reverse inhaling a black coffee (first it went UP my nose, then DOWN my nose, and then UP again )

All I can say is: CC how COULD you do such a thing to poor B?

(actually...maybe Flouffy farted, look at the innocence!)

B could have been slightly more impressed

I can't stop laughing at it...anyone got a tena lady handy?
