2012 3-day event Greenwich Park

Havent heard from 2012 to say that I was successful with my application for 2 tickets (£50 worth) to watch the cross country section of the 2012 olympics??
Anybody else been successful or not - Seems crazy to not allow spectators to enter a park the size of Greenwich - whats the explanation
 
I got 2 tickets! Cannot beleive it! I think a large number of tickets were held back for sponsers/companies etc.??
 
I am counting us very lucky, myself, best friend andtwo children each will be going. Only tickets I applied for as couldnt afford to pay for any more.
 
None for me :( Gutted as I'd be travelling down from NE Scotland so would have stayed down there for a week and made it into a little holiday. I asked for 2 x tickets for the XC day and also the eventing SJ day. But nothing :(
 
I applied for all 3 days but from the amount that has gone out I think I will be getting one day dressage and then the show jumping most expensive seats. It has been a really daft system as that would mean two days where I'm hanging about for no reason but I am lucky to have got anything.
 
I've got a full price xc and an old fogies one. Applied for other SJ / pentathlon and 3DE final. Really lucky I think
 
I am absolutely gutted not to have any tickets. I was at the XC and the SJ days of both the LA and the Beijing Olympics in Hong Kong. I'm a huge Olympics fan as my Dad was on the BOC when we were growing up and went to a succession of games as an official - for gymnastics not riding - but still have the Olympic bug running deep. Seems absolutely ridiculous that I can't get tickets to be there when it's on my doorstep.
