One of the main equine research projects being carried out at Myerscough College is the National Preserved Forage Survey.

Despite contacting many of the people who have taken part in the survey, we still need 2012 forage samples for analysis.

We currently still need:
2 from Scotland
2 from Wales
3 from the South
1 from the Midlands

If you have any forage from 2012 and would like to take part in the research project, please contact stinsley@myerscough.ac.uk

Forage is analysed for free, we just ask you to take part in the survey if you have 5 -10 minutes to spare. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NationalPreservedForageSurvey

Many Thanks

I live in South Lincs. I have some meadow haylage from 2012 supplied by a company in North Lincs, so not really midlands, but let me know if it would be useful.

Thanks for getting in touch. Is it grown in North Lincolnshire?
I am waiting for someone to get back to me about a North sample but if you can get it to me next Monday then I will use it. Could you please email me address and il send you the details.
Many Thanks

Thanks to those who have messaged me and taken part in the survey.

If you have any 2012 forage samples grown in the above areas then please email stinsley@myerscough.c.uk

Many Thanks

Whereabouts in the South? I've still got some of last year's hay grown in Somerset if that's any good.

I've done survey.
