I am looking at some new stirrups and have a few things on the 'wish list' as far as features go:
Lightweight
Black
Encourage better lower leg position (be it through flex or angle of the leather hole)
Main uses are jumping and dressage.
Now reading around there are a few that look to fit the bill:
Tekna Flex Stirrups - £40

Royal Rider T3 Jump - £80ish

Sprenger Bow Balance - £135ish
http://www.wychanger.com/products/827-sprenger-bow-balance-stirrup-irons
As far as looks go, I like the Royal Rider's. As far as a quality name goes I like the Sprengers.
Now I have read a few posts about composite stirrups not having the same structural integrity as traditional irons. Is that still the case? Or has it moved on since then?
Any and all feedback would be helpful!
Out of interest, what sort of stirrups are favoured by the pro's of the different disciplines?
