i hate CMH so much
Agree, the cost is extortionatei hate CMH so much
Why the heck couldn’t they have done an individual event pass that we could have all bought![]()
I won’t be able to see any of it as I’m not in the UK :/ wanted to see the London Chipmunk rematch, and everything else. Boo.Yup! They would have made some £ from that. But I refuse to pay their extortionate subs to watch some stressage

Hi @TheMule I've been trying to find out what eventing they cover - do you find there is a good coverage - UK & Eur?Because it's an administration nightmare?
CMH is a brilliant service. I realize I'm a horse-obsessed geek so I probably get a lot more usage out of it than most people, but I watch something on it most days

At the moment, I subscribe to H&C+ for UK regional BE events (and Rolex GP SJ), plus Badminton TV (on CMH), and Burghley TV.
I'm tempted by CMH but if it's just for the next couple of days of dressage, it's not really worth it.
And badminton..Is it though? They manage to separate subs out for Kentucky and Pau…
You're right - and as @KEK says, they also host Badminton. Is it though? They manage to separate subs out for Kentucky and Pau…
Thanks @ihatework - that's really helpful - and has saved me from signing up - I was a bit undecided but you've confirmed my reservations! For an eventing fan, and if you aren’t particularly bothered by other disciplines, it’s really not worth it as there is barely any more of the top level stuff than you can already get via the subs you already have.
If you like watching all kinds of horse sport frequently, they do cover a lot. The coverage is far more reliable than the likes of H&C, and they format it well so you can quickly see specific rounds on replay

There has got to be a way to circumvent iPlayer abroad to watch - you need someone technical for that kind (ie not me!)
Could you download bbc iplayer ok? Looks like reports are hit and miss on this plus some people were still geocached out.. I am very untechy but was looking into it yesterday! You just need a vpn, I use surfshark, dead easy![]()
I've never had a problem with surfshark, I used to use other vpns, but I agree it can be tricky and a bit unpredictable. I have iplayer downloaded already in the uk on my phone and ipad, maybe that makes a difference?Could you download bbc iplayer ok? You can see all of their events on the 'Events' tab and then you can filter down by discipline. They always shows the championships (except Olympics).
It's best for watching SJ, but also has lots of thing that I enjoy like stallion gradings/ shows etc- it's good for breeding enthusiasts!
I’m going to be going for the XC on Saturday, will be my first time! What sort of time should I aim to arrive considering traffic? I couldn’t find anything very recent about it but looks like 2021 was very very busy.. anyone have any experience with the last couple years? Not wanting to shop so don’t need to be super early but don’t want to miss the start of the cross country. And also (again, sorry, newbie questions!!) how long does the day actually go on for? I saw the shopping village closes at 5:30, is that around when the competitors finish as well?
Does anyone know who the judge at E is ? Very odd scoring they had the 2 Germans scored higher than the other judges and the 2 team Brits much lower … and a few of the other countries were scored higher , our individuals were scored higher.. will be interesting to see how our other team riders scored tomorrow ..

Thank you, will be checking tomorrow
Is anyone there watching the dressage on Fri.. could maybe tape London and Chipmunk if that was allowed?
Yeah I wondered if it would be. Fair enough. It's technically against the rules (maybe FEI, maybe streaming contracts) to video and post footage online https://bpiht.co.uk/public-filming-streaming-policy/
