24/7 summer turnout

two thoroughbreds..they get left out of course!
I would be very shocked at horses (who are built to live outdoors) being brought in for rain...both of ours are fine skinned, thin coated and they have shelter and are happy as larry!
 
My boys are in rain sheets. bless them, they melt if they get wet!

Depends on the horse's breed, age, etc what it can cope with - but I'd just rug the delicate flowers, and still leave them out.
My three live out all year - rain, hail, snow...you name it...but I find I have to rug my old TB lady more than the other two.

Unless it rains constantly and is windy then they stay out naked. If the weather really is torrential for more than a day or it was biting winds then we would bring them in overnight for a break from it. Depends on the horse really.
