Once upon a time I owned a pony (her in my avatar) and I wanted to have rugs that were navy bound in red, I really really wanted a day rug for her, but couldn't get one in that colour combo. I went to a show as a groom for someone - no one told me there would be "shops" there, and one of them had - yup - navy/red rugs. And there was me with no money

Over 25 years later, I went into a pet shop for a nosey around and what did I find?!

and it fits Don perfect! The red doesn't look so good on him, but I just had to have "my" rug!

I made my old pony a navy/red quilted rug 25+ years ago - I was the first person on the yard to have a quilted rug as jute rugs where still the "in" thing

I think the new rug is a Shires - well it was in a Shires bag anyways! I got it in the pet supply shop attached to the Vet's clinic...
