Tomorrow is the day all horse owners dred the day when its time for new owners 2 collect your hairy best friend

. My beautifull black mare is off to a new life wiv the army i know she will be cared for but it feels like im loosing 1 of my kids. these last few months the bills have come in more and my salary less that lottery win never happened

so my girly has got to be sold.Iv kept my fat boy cob and my mares filly as had them both since foal. I done my job i found her a good home which makes me feel better and can still see her, will let you all know how it went get the tissues ready

We sold 2 ponies within 3 months after having them for 7 and 6 years as daughter grew too tall. We found that the days before the sale were the worse and come the actual day its was somewhat reassuring knowing that they have gone to good homes. Far more tears before than after ie the last ride, the last feed etc (sorry don't want to make you cry!) but honestly it does get better.

That must be tough, it is really hard to let them go, but as you say, sometimes you have to compromise. Good that you have your filly and your cob, they will keep you busy x
