2nd hand rubber matting??

Hiya,

Can you buy 2nd hand rubber matting and any clues where from?? Want the thicker ones and ones that are actually easy to brush as opposed to some i bought earlier this year which are impossible to keep clean and really adds to mucking out time!!

Have a look in your local newspapers, free ads papers, tack shop boards & ebay. It does come up for sale but not that often. Normally if someone is selling theirs there is always someone close by that wants it.

Have you tried looking for cow mats too? Farm sales, co-ops etc. They tend to be quite thick as cows weigh a lot more than most horses. I have them and they are very good. Mine are quite heavily ridged in a herring bone pattern, so not slippery at all.
