2nd Handhand air vests

My 8 year old hit air jacket has been condemned by hit air(despite never being set off) so I am looking for a new jacket.
I would like a point two this time and there seems to be a very healthy market for them second hand. I wouldn't buy a second hand riding hat but I guess air vests are different? What are peoples experiences?

Send it straight off for a service and it will cone back good as new with a new airbag in it for about 50 quid

Point two sell refurbished jackets on the website, they are a bit cheaper but look like new, I bought one. It has a dry cleaned outer and a new inner and comes with 2 cartridges etc.

I've done just that on Sunday, and it arrived yesterday! Looks absolutely brand spanking new, although only came with one cartridge. £370 including postage.
