Just wandering if anyone has any tips for me....
Taking the 4 year old out for her second time in March,
Last time, the hunt (for a childrens meet) was in the village, just hacked her to the meet, and then rode with the field for about 20 minutes, and as soon as we got near to our house hacked her home. She was slightly bewildered, didnt do anything stupid, but was very tense and very excitable..... I didn't jump either, as it hypes her up. (She also tried to jump out the stable as soon as we put her in it.)
I know everyone says with a youngster its always the second time they go that they can be silly.... She is the quirky, sensitive type, and she has bucked a bit before....so a little apprehensive.
Am planning to take a freind with a big solid sensible cob, to "babysit" as such.
Any help much appreciated.
