Hi guys , 2nd vetting tommorow , oh god I feel sick I really hope she passes , I've had so much bad luck in the past ,I just hope it's my turn to have a bit of luck for a change !
 
is this the one that failed the other week on 1/10th lame?

Hiya yeah she was 1/10th lame last time , hopefully it will all be ok I really like the horse but if it's meant to be I guess tommorow I will know thank you
 
Vet just called said he was there 5 mins just trotted her up and she is still slightly lame so didn't continue, however he did say he put testers on her feet for a response , said he does actually think its her shoes so she's getting re-shot , and he said its worth continuing in ten days or so ,so he's arranged to go back on the 12th June , it all seems like a lot of messing around but I know it's gotta be done ,jut wouldn't want the seller to think she's being messed around :confused:
 
You must be really hacked off but the seller will know you are serious as you are spending money on vetting - not cheap. Is the horse near you? Could you ask your farrier to have a look?

Hmmm, that's worrying isn't it? Sorry it didn't go well. Don't worry about messing the seller about, their horse isn't sound and they if they want to sell it they're going to have to be patient. I'm surprised the vet is going back again tbh. Is it local? Could you get your farrier to have a look for you? ETA, Sorry, above poster's just said that. :o I just read your post to see how you'd got on.

Hi horse is 3 hours away, I spoke to the seller she's getting her re-shod this weekend the vet sounded positive that is was the shoes that were making her lame

The horse isn't local to me but the vet is not far , I think he wants to go back because he thinks its a temp thing her being lame ,if it don't work out when he goes back on 12 June then I will move on I'm just going off his advice
 
Hope it all goes well next time. If not - it was not meant to be and there will be something better round the corner. Fingers crossed. x
