Has anyone one here got an Alexanders (or similar reputable company) van type conversion? Just wondering what exactly can fit in one - payload quoted as 1400kg. Are they any good?
PM me if you prefer.
Thanks

I have a Bonnington one, which is a van conversion as opposed to a coachbuilt. It's got a certified payload of 1250kg (have a weighbridge certificate).

Hi hired one from Alexanders in December and I did the driving. I also have some pictures of the box somewhere.

If you want to know anything, let me know.

I have a renault master van conversion with a payload of 1200kg, which can travel my 14.2hh welsh and 15hh connemara just about bang on payload, but it wouldn't take much more to take it over the limit. The maker said it would take up to a 16.2hh but I wouldn't put anything over 16hh in it.
To drive it is lovely and it gives a very smooth ride - both of mine love it.
