I would love one of these!! I have to do the trailer test to tow the trailer on my own but could drive one of these without. How much freedom i would have!!

Just short of a few thousand though!! Sorry, bit of a pointless post but i would love one!

I have a funny little C reg 3.5. Its old, battered, ridiculous, rusty but it gets me from A to B and, sometimes, if Im lucky, C!

I had a trailer, but was terrified of driving it. And I so didnt want to do my test. We bought our lorry quite cheaply on Ebay

I love driving my 3.5 tonne lorry. Its a Bedford CF 26yrs of age and still going like a trooper. We bought it cheap and my dad has done a brilliant job at fixing it all. Always get comments about how good it looks at shows. Also a lot cheaper than doing up newer lorries as the engine is easier to get to and there are loads of spare parts around

My box takes 2 17.2hh is an x reg renault master and i love it! im only 20 and i didnt fancy learning to drive a 7.5 or hgv and my horse wont travel in a trailer. Im lucky i have a nice daddy to buy me things!

If I don't go to uni and I get my horse fit I will certainly consider attempting to buy one then if I can drive it straight away.
Oo lucky you lucy! haha

I used to have a 3.5ton Transit/Ifor conversion, and whilst it was a fantastic and reliable runner, I don't think it gave my horse a great journey - his loading got gradually worse and worse the more he travelled.

I really want one of the Renault Masters, and hopefully next year will be able to get one. My yard owner hires them out, and sells them, and he's a big fan, but he does say that there's a lot of dodgy conversions out there. Be careful with what weights and heights the advertisements say they can carry - apparently some of them can carry more weight because they've scrimped on strengthening the floor (which makes it weigh more).

I've heard lots of horses travel well in them though, think it's the backwards facing that does it.
