Hi I'm going to view a 3.5t ford transit conversion today and wondered if anyone can recommend a good horsebox mechanic in my area to check it out for me? Thanks
when i sold a transit with a ifor body , the girl who bought it had the aa check it out first , believe me they whent over every thing ! think it cost her about £150.00 a few years ago .
Brad Hope of Bicester Horseboxes travels. He went down to Southampton to look at a DAF for me. I chose him over the AA because he has horsebox experience and knows the horse side as well as the vehicle bits. A bit more than the AA but i thought worth it.
Thanks all. I'm not proceeding with that one as the conversion resulted in really really high ramps 6ft plus that look like trouble in store for loading and off loading .... and underneath was painted in wet silver paint.
