3.5T horsebox with <£6k to spend?

Do you think I have much chance of finding anything baring in mind I have a 16.2hh horse? Oh and it must have a side loading ramp.

I called up about one this weekend but it didn't have enough headroom.

Tried the usual horse sales sites but not found anything, any ideas where else I can look?

How far do you want to travel? There's one in Elgin (Scotland) for £5k. I can dig out the number for you if you like. From memory it's an L Reg.

I looked ten lorries before I found what I wanted. Ask lots of questions and request extra pics before you go. It saves lots of wasted journeys.
BTW with your budget you should find what you need but 3-5 litres are very popular due to the legal driving age restrictions.

Find yourself a transit ftatbed or tipper locally from auto-trader and get a local welder fabrecator to build you a box body to fit your horse. design it for only one horse and you won't have problems with over weight. have the partition centred on the body for one . The body should cost no more than 2 grand
