Hi I've been looking for a while now at 3.5ton boxes and wondering if anyone has bought one from Equi-sport?

I would only be traveling a 14.2 so don't really need anything bigger.

I've been on the website and Facebook page and they seem to have very good reviews.

Safety is my biggest thing when I've been looking so I would appreciate any info or advice I can get, good or bad 😄

I also posted this in The New Lounge but don't know if more people might have one in here.

Thanks in advance 😄

I also like the look of the equi-sport and would be interested in any first hand experiences!

I haven't got an equisport but I have a Burghley which is very similar in construction. I like the look of the Equisport and if I was buying again I'd definitely consider it as it seems to tick all the important boxes. I particularly like the horse emergency exit, mine doesn't have this although it does have the big double doors at the back and a very high breast bar. i carry a full up 16.2 and he travels really well but he does have more than half of the space so he can spread his legs. TBH a 14.2 should travel really well but it's useful to have something that will take a bigger horse as you might have one in the future or decide to sell the box on. Check the head room will take a big horse, i think mine is 7ft. Most important to me is the reinforcement of the actual chassis, mine is an older box and OK but I am having some extra strength added to the front behind the driver, just in case. From equisport specs it seems they do a good job with reinforcing but I think the link given by spottymare is really useful. Really exciting to have a newbuild, I bought mine nearly 6 years ago and it was 2 years old then but it still looks very smart!
