hi, am looking for a bit of advice about having 3 horses sharing a field shelter. i moved my pony 7 wks ago to share a field with a friend other 2 ponys, but the others are hogging the field shelter and mine seems worried about going in it with the others. he has always been used to his own cosy stable and is a bit of a wimp so i need to know that when the weather gets bad that he will have some shelter, otherwise i will have to move him to somewhere that he has his own stable. the land is pretty steep and rocky and the field they are put into at night is pretty small with nowhere soft to lie down except the field sheter. because of this he is ending up with cuts and grazes all over him where he is lying down on the stones. it is not my land so i cant really make any big changes to it..... does anyone keep there horse on a similar type of land, have had any field shelter issues etc??? apart from this the daytime grazing is ideal as he is a fatty and its mainly woodland so means he doesnt have to spend his life either shut in on his onw or with a muzzle on. any advice appreciated , thanks

Sorry no real advice but would your friend let you put up another shelter or would it be possible to extend the current one. Not a lot of help sorry!
