3 mile gallop on Chobham common?

I have been told of a 3 mile sand gallop track on Chobham common but I can't find it. CAn anyone give me directions. From Valley end area is best.
 
I think they mean the 'Pipe line' which is not suitable to even trot in most places! The ground is very hard in most places and you get SO many dog walkers etc that makes it virtually impossible to do anything past trot!

There is a short stretch before a bridge/after depending on which direction you are coming from which is good enough to have a good canter on.

Then again I care about my horses legs- if you weren't bothered I suppose it is technically a 3 mile stretch!

There are lots of other lovely hacks on the common though :)

I hacked around there at the weekend but I couldn't find anywhere I was even prepared to trot. I was told by several people at a riding school that it is a 3 mile sand gallop but I couldn't make sense of the directions
 
Chobham common is my local hacking and there isn't anywhere that is 3 miles long in one canter stretch. The pipeline is probably the longest, but that is very hard and you wouldn't want to canter much of it.
 
Not that long (other than the already mentioned pipe line) but quite honestly, the amount of dog walkers make it virtually impossible.
 
This is my local hacking too, I normally have a long canter on the track that runs next to the road at the top...sorry that prob doesn't help much lol!
There are lots of nice tracks to have a blast on I like the hills :)
 
Misshorsestyle, you're probably closer to Brentmoor which is awesome hacking :)

I go up there with Dorey a lot and we're very close to Bisley (in fact, I drive through it to see her :) )

If you want to meet up when she's sound and go for a hack, do let me know!! I'm hoping to get shown some more hacking round here too (Brentmoor is like one of 3 or 4 commons we have access too!)!

No, it's doable, one of our ponies went up to Chobham recently to hoony with some of the rider's friends.

We're really not far from Chobham common here even by the roads. I'm sure there's some shorter routes on the bridlepaths (for example, I know one that leads from Bisley to Chobham via the golf course, although I've never taken it myself!)
