3 ring gag, 2 reins and a curb?

Hiya guys!
Hope your having a good day!

I've been reading lately about the 3 ring gag. I usually jump my horse in one of these, with 2 reins, but lately, hes been a lot easier in a pelham with 2 reins and the curb chain, so when i read that a gag can have a curb i wanted to know more!!

What sort of curb can you put on a 3 ring gag because i've never seen one that you can buy with one attached?!!? And where do you get a curb attachment?

they are supposed to come with a curb but they never did. surley you can go to a good tack shop and buy a spare curb and some hooks then attach it to the bit.

Think you'd have to buy a curb strap seperately, I looked into getting it for mine but haven't got round to it!

Thats what i was thinking, but read somewhere on here that you can buy a leather one to go on it?!?! But just wondered where from and how

You can buy curb chains that buckle on (my sister bought one from ebay) or I known people just use a flash strap. I suppose the action is the same as a curb chain on a pelham or weymouth, in that it comes into affect when you use the curb rein.

Would your cheek piece fit onto the big ring? That smaller ring just being for the curb leather?
