Name three good and three bad horsey things which apply to you right now - I'll start!

Good
1. I now have a week off work, so I can chill out and spend time with the ponies!

2. Had a fab jumping lesson tonight! My pony jumped really well and was really lifting from his shoulders.

3. Might be going to a show this weekend!

Bad
1. My NVQ 2 seems to be taking forever ... I really just want to get it finished!

2. I'm annoyed with a certain person I work with at the yard.

3. I might not be going to a show this weekend, it depends on whether I can get transport or not!

I saw my baby horse with a full set of tack and boots strutting calmly past me to the indoor school earlier.

Have sorted out some new feed for her (thanks SU!)

It's a nice day and I don't begrudge poo picking in it

Bad

Bought a rug on ebay got sent wrong one and seller refusing to admit they got it wrong

Still 'between' farriers

Need to realistically lose a stone so I don't squish baby horse

I have no horses to ride and its getting boring

Good:
1) Won my first Novice dressage on Bodey on Saturday with over 70%
2) Doing a pairs Hunter Trial this weekend with my Sister (_Gina_) and her horse Prince
3) My Mum is back from America, she is back riding Badger the Fjord and already booked in to a W/T dressage test

Bad:
1) The clippers have broken so Bodey is looking very hairy at the moment, I just hope Dad can fix them or I’m going to have to find over £200.
2) Badger was shod by a different farrier as was at my Instructors yard and he didn’t use road nails, so he kept slipping out hacking tonight, makes my heart go into my mouth
3) My friend and hacking partner had a bad fall on Wednesday jumping and has dislocated her hip.

Found a sharer for my girl and so far they are getting along like a house on fire - so she's finally getting out and about and is much happier

YO's moving premises this weekend - OK at the moment the new place is just fields, but the hacking is fab, there are three show centres in hacking distance and we're having an indoor school - yay!

I'm all organised and ready to move, so it doesn't matter that I don't have a day off work until Saturday

Bad....

My back is still too knackered for me to ride

I'm sh*tting myself over the move- 20 acres of ex-dairy pasture just waiting to cause trouble - we're going to have to be soo careful over these next few weeks

I work six days a week, I can't stand my job, and I'm still broke!

Girly lunged like a dream tonight - she looked so pretty
The boy had a full set of tack on yesterday - and me jumping up and down by him - didn't turn a hair at all
Bathed the 2yo on sat - bless her cotton socks she just went to sleep - apart from when she wanted me to scratch her in a different place!!

My girl seems to have decided that I am very scary and monstrous in the field and won't let me catch in when I want her

After 2yo bath time I did some trot up practice for 1st show in a couple of weeks - cue 2yo on back feet and dragging me across the field!!
GIrly's front hoof boots need replacing

New mare has being doing some really good schooling and is starting to work in good outline
She hacks out on her own and had wonderful hour long trek round woods with no galloping or bit evasion
Collected canter in progress rather than flat out gallop and handbrake turns

Gelding still lame ( (3 years on and off)
Non horsey but lost my dog(rip chester)

My horse did a flying change this evening- 1st one which i have asked for!!
Jumped him last night, chase me charlie style, ended up at 4.5ft! didnt knock any down, and could have kept going.. but i got a little scared

Lame horse is now a sound horse, after being on box rest with poulticed foot
Bad:
Lame horse escaped from stable, managed to either get through gate or a metal door and ran off into a corn field... when still a little lame.
horse was very spooky this evening due to winds!

OH and an AMAZING break through- i can catch my horse! i could before but he was always a pr@t... use of a carrot is the way forwards!!

-my boy has cut his leg and is hopping lame after only 10days of being back into work for over a year.
-feed up with a whining livery down my yard who i would quite happierly kill right now
-want to compete my mare but have no transport
