I have a 3 year old Cob that I am doing groundwork with when I lead him he is very pushy with his head and then will try and bite. He will then plant his feet and be reluctant to walk on. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated thankyou

Put him on a halter not a head collar and get forward movement by rocking him from side to side he cannot refuse to move as you are unbalancing him. You can use the halter for loads of ground work it will also teach him to respect you if you follow the correct use. Richard Maxwell has loads of pay to view video lessons to teach you how to teach him There are dozens of books too depends how visual a learner you are. Don't hit him it will make matters worse
