Now whilst I have every sympathy with the estwhile Ms Jones that her pony has developed Lami it was this bit below that got me.
"Nicola is beside herself. She once had a horse die from laminitis and is terrified we might lose Dream too. She ordered some magnetic boots for her to wear £50; the magnets should help the circulation and took up her bedding of shavings (£300) and replaced it with a much firmer bedding made of hemp (another £300)."
At my rough calculation this is 35 bales of bedding!
Now either;
1. Nicola is taking the Pish
2. Armani have entered the horse bedding business
3. The unfortunate pony is stabled in a stable that is HUGE!
4. The prone to exaggeration Ms Jones assumes that the
average Daily Mail reader would beleive that it costs 300 pounds to bed down a horse.
5. The unfortunate pony is lost somewhere in a sea of hemp bedding never to be seen again.
I know stop reading the trash! in my defence I only ever read the online version on a Sunday morning with my wake up cup of coffee.
Link to the full article is below for anyone who feels like losing a few brain cells
