300g turnout rug recommendations

I would like a 300g turnout with permanent fixed neck cover for my boy preferably without a seam at the base of the neck to avoid mane rubbing. I have looked at the Galaxy one but it's an awful pinkish red colour and the Shires one is way too short as he's a big boy. Any others? I can only find 220g ones!

i have a wetherbeta rug.. hug i think its a stormcheeta not sure.. cant remember but that only a medium weight and is cracking with no seams. looks alot like the arion

Try this link for the masta check tech heavy its 280g and nylon lined my boy has been in his for a few weeks now its a great rug for the price £68, only negative is the fiddly neck.

only problem is Masta are never deep enough unless it's the extra deep one and that doesn't look extra deep!

Weatherbeeta Oricon or Rhinegold Aspen. My mare is very long in the back and deep through the girth, both have full necks and fit well

I'd agree with Baileysno1 about Masta checktech, I'm surprised you don't find them deep enough becausethey're one of the few makes that are deep enough on my ID gelding (& he's seriously deep through his ribcage, chest & neck). You can get them at a better price from www.4dobbin.com , I think about £58 there.

Derby House own rug comes in a 300g combo for £50, I've got one on my Highland and its a great fit. Is navy/ light blue, in case that's an issue!

Weatherbeetas are brilliant, impressed with all mine except the basic Landa one which can leak if in really awful weather - Arion and Oricans are excellent.
