Thought as everone else was posting i would pop these up.
Im sure you will all say she looks tiny but as a small 15.3hh TB normally 430kg (currently 500kg) she is big for her.
(Yes i know she has odema on her tummy)

my mare has had a lot of edema, pitted edema. Has traveled right across her belly now, started at her teat area, then went.. then the same place as your mare and went, then she had edema
between her two front legs, now she has edema along her sides, quite common vet says.
 
mine too :-) vet said not to worry, mines also not very big and was told not to worry about that too, vet said she's just hiding it well, she's due the same time as your mare, i think they all carry differently, cant wait also, just want to know all is ok and everyone is safe and well. best of luck and look forward to seeing the end results
 
She is very trim! She looks like she will be a yummy mummy!:p You have probably answered this before but who is she in foal to? Its funny the different ways they carry their bumps, my mare who just foaled has a very broad rib cage and carried her foal well whereas my second mare, not due for a while, has looked very heavy for ages! Your mare looks very well, being slim will stand to her and should make the birth easier. Good luck:)
 
Thanks for posting these pics of your lovely girl. My mare is also hiding her bump well and is about 290 days. I have felt better that other mares are slim and hide it well too. She was always slender and tubular, but now looks well rounded, so i can see a big change. Cant wait to see the pics of this lovely girls baby. Good luck :D
 
Our maiden looked in show condition not pregnant untill about day 340, now 36 days on if you look from the front or behind you can see she is in foal but from the side she just looks the same as before! ;) They are ALL different, like with people!

Thing is she looks big (for her) in person she has always been super model thin, so i dont know why i expected her to go huge!

Thank you and good luck, i know what you mean one healthy mare and foal is all i want! what/who is your mare in to?
 
Yes my mare was the same very slender, I've always struggled getting weight on her. Its very reassuring to know I'm not the only one with a typical blimp sized mare. I think I am so used to seeing broodmares I expect every pregnant mare to be like that. I'm very neurotic too, abbys been fine through the pregnancy, its me who's been worse! Good luck everyone, exciting times ahead. Better get my paperbag ready and the sedalin, for me!
 
Eeeek!
So today go to bring in and suddenly she looks different, pointy tummy, soft tail, 1/2 bag, although no dif in vulva.
I know they can bag up in hours but change vulva change that quick?
 
Oh exciting, sounds like shes would love to see pics as your girl is so similar to mine. Very exciting. How are you feeling? im going to need sedation when my mare gets any changes!:rolleyes:

After running around following her round the field going "OMG LOOK AT HER" ive had a quick drink and now sat at home feel a tad calmer!
Time for that huge foal bed now me thinks
