hey
went to college (keysoe) yesterday which was heaving!
eventually jumped about 2.30 with first horse.
Robbie is 6yrs, it was his 4th show with me and his first ever indoors, so he was spooky as hell!
it was in the equinox novice qual with dc counting towards bn.
he jumped the first phase clear - although nearly depositing me at fence 4, a double with 3 strides to fence 5. he did this not becuse of the fences, hell no, but that white timer thing in the corner was going to KILL him, so we spooked and bronked round the corner!
he then just had 4 faults in the jo but still pleased with him.
then jumped 2nd horse in 1m open as he has had time off, horse decided that as they were not his normal 1.20m he didnt need to put so much effort in cos it was all so easy, and also he could go really really fast!
oops, pole on floor. grrrr
same in the next class, although made worse by all my friends confirming that he was jumping fab, and didnt look like touching a pole, well until fence 8 anyway!
he did jump that one better than first class though which is something!
bloody horses!!!!
also met fee - fee, but i will let her tell you how her day went, although i think naughty pony will be mentioned in there!!!
