4 new girls in the family!

Very excited. A friend delivered 4 of her home breed point of lay chickens tonight (mixture of breeding - Dad is a Jersey Giant and mums are from a selection of Black Rock, Warrens, Sussex lights and Orpingtons!). Although I had chickens growing up, this is our first "flock" together. Can't wait for the first eggs

I share your excitement even though my friends think Im mad lol
We have a light sussex,an indian game and an arucana bantam added to them two new bluebell pullets from |derby auctions yesterday.
i love my chickens even though they are ,ore pets as they are fairly useless at egg laying apart from the light sussex,hoping the bluebells are a bit more productive.
