I'm considering changing jobs which would mean me moving from mon to fri 8.30 to 17.00 to 4 on 4 off 07.30 start 12 hour shifts
how do you fit your horses in around these sort of hours ? i have an older mare who is still very active i cant imagine that i would be attending the yard at all on my working days and would just pay my friend to do her the days I work
in all honesty i never get out on time where i am, so she is very often only ridden at weekends which she needs more off
the change is all in consideration of building a client base on my days off for Equine sports massage, but would still leave me with a full time wage giving me time to build things up, and considering there may be a recession its way it would leave my financially safe for a while
i also have a dog.... yes this has all come at the wrong time ! my OH is self employed so very often works shorter days than i do now, and has more time off than me so he is around for pooch in the week, will be hiring a dog walker or day care for the days he cant be there, unfortunately he will not touch the horse too scared !!
