Sugar will arrive on Saturday, and I am so excited! Also a little nervous (must stop reading posts about people's new horses that then become nutters!), she's coming with nothing but her halter, so it will be a week or so before I can ride her (got the saddle fitter organised, and access to some second hand saddles so really hoping one of those is a good fit in the interim).
So will take her for a walk around the barn and fields, so she can see some of her new room mates and going to do some basic groundwork stuff with her in the arena as well.
Our lovely weather is pretty much here, so very excited to do lots of riding and have a beach day planned as well once she's all settled in.
It still feels a little surreal that I have a horse! Five year old me still can't believe it
