4 years ago a thread came on here seeking new homes for some ex gun dogs whose owner was terminally ill.....

I replied to this thread.

4 years ago I took this photo of Teal and Will coming home.

Will is 15yrs old in this photo, and went to the fields filled with pheasants in the sky 8 months later.

4 years on Teal is doing fab. Hes gone grey now. He has remained my
little loyal shadow despite a big change in life when I split with my ex.

He had even managed to do some canicross and bikejor with me and my other dog Dylan. Teal didn't get the whole running in harness thing, he is a classic springer, zig zagging the undergrowth. But he has kinda got it now and "raced"
on Saturday this week.

Anyway a few photos of the boy, I am so glad I replied to that thread

He got a prize in a scurry at a country show

Never sleep on the bed

And stays nice and clean

Fits in any space

I remember that thread, cant believe it was that long ago, they are extremely lucky dogs as not many people would have done what you did, well done and they have repaid your kindness in spades, lovely photos of beautiful happy dogs.

thanks guys Can't believe it was 4 years ago either. Made the poor boy do this yesterday. Dylan is at the front, Teal doesn't get it at all. He is normally loose running behind me.

Me too. It was the last thing I looked at last night and I ended up dreaming about my Hollie (bad start to life and has thrived with Stig and the pups) and your dogs...all three of them in harness running with big rosettes clipped to their harnesses
