I've seen an advert for a 4 yr ISH that is already 15.2.

The horse ticks all my boxes, but I'm concerned about potential growth. Not worried by an inch or so, but don't want the warmblood trick or another hand or so.

Any guesses?

Ha ha. Thats what I'm worried about.

The stable is plenty big enough. I'm not.

I do ride 16.2 +, but on a day to day basis prefer something smaller.

i bought a 4 year old ish. he was measured 15.3hh by the vet during vetting and told he wouldn't grow much more. we sold him at 5 and he was 16hh-16.1hh and still growing.

Oh no. I shouldn't have read this thread! Six weeks ago I bought a TB x Hanoverian who has just turned 5 and is 15.2. I bought her because she's small enough for me. Now I'm terrified she's going to turn into a 16.2 monster instead of just putting on another inch!
