4500 paid for the mare pg 4 H&H

Jesus, why do people never learn, if you can spare 4500 for a horse that looks like that, why not find the extra for the vetting?

Basically its a story about a muppett that bought a cripple and a nutcase of a horse from a dodgy dealer. There's a pic of the mare that he paid 4500 for, it looks skinny, underweight and has no muscle at all, and was very lame a few days after being bought,so basically not worth 4500!
Theres also another pic of a horse that was bought from the same dealer that was found to have multiple fractures of the hock a few days after the horse was bought, and the dealer had just buted the horse up or something.
In both cases the horses were bought without vettings

a lady at my yard didnt vet her new pony because the then owner told her not to????????

Well I dont understand what made the father think this mare was suitable for a 12yo or to part with that money & not bother to have it vetted after being caught out by the dealer with an earlier horse. Quote "The second time Rebecca rode Warwick, it bucked her off violently and she roke her leg." So after all that he takes this mare as a swap. The dealer Paul Anderson of Braeside Equestrian, is being investigated by Trading Standards. I would be ashamed to have bred a horse that looks like this & makes me wonder how much of the temperment is due to being uncomfortable. Oh the mare is a Dutch WB, I know an ex member would have a field day over this one!! Well perhaps not so ex anymore...
