That's the number of full clips I have done since October 5th.

Totally pointless post but I am currently being very cat like and coughing up hairballs which isn't very pleasant!

Out of interest how many clips has everyone else done so far? If you say one then I will be most unimpressed! You have been warned! :D :D :D
 
About 20ish!! And I don't even do this for a job! Just the people who I do a few hours a week for like to have their horses clipped . . A lot!! I've also done mine 4 times already!! :eek::eek:
 
Well I am about to clip my 'yak' light hunter for the 5th time tomorrow!!!

Poor you - I couldn't contemplate clipping 49 times, but then at least you get paid for it! x
 
I wouldnt mind so much if I got paid the going rate for it but unfortunately its included in my contract. In a yard of over 100 tb's it's a sobering thought ...
 
Dizzydancer - Ssssshhhhhhhhh! I pretending the rest don't exist!!!! There are other people on the yard who can and do clip but they are slow and only do saints of horses. Hence my high tally!

And to think they will all be done 3-4x each ... Balls!
 
Blimey EKW, that's a lot. On the flip side though, you must be an expert clipper and I bet you are pretty quick at it. Was never my favourite job - the hair seems to get everywhere it shouldn't.
 
Hair - blergh! In your eyes, in your throat, in your mouth, up your nose but the worst bit? When one tiny little solitary hair gets stuck upright in your skin, rubs on your clothes and jags the hell out of you - Holy Mary Mother Of Jesus! There is nothing as sore as that!

I used to cry having to clip two every 2/3 weeks, what was I moaning about!

So far the only occasion that I have picked up my clippers was to trim my dog ;)
 
None, I am useless at clipping (too nervous and slow) so I pay someone at the yard to do it. I do pull manes for other liveries sometimes though, I can manage that!
