4x4 for towing??

Hi everyone,

I am finally in a place where I can upgrade my yaris to something able to pull a trailer. But it does not seem as simple as I first thought! I was looking at a BMW x3 but now thinking that may not be substancial. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on good 4x4's for pulling a trailer with two horses in around 16hh.

I've just bought a kia sorento capable of towing 2800kg. Not tried it yet as only brought it yesterday! but my friend has the exact same car and loves hers!!! Depends what sort of money you wanted to spend, if I had a bigger budget id have gone for a discovery but I'd heard good recommendations about the sorento and it was more to my budget had seen it towing in action and was impressed with it.

I use a Land Rover defender and it has always done the job well, up steep hills too. But is a bit primitive for comfort etc. I found Discos seemed just too big.
