Hello everybody!

So this is the little git that took so long to get going!! He's making up for it now though. He took to jumping like a duck to water and was so sensible. Love the little guy!

He was not an easy guy to get going, and has been really testing! But, Slow progress is still progress, and he is now coming into his own and i'm mega proud of him. Onwards and upwards from here with the little man I hope :)

Well done it isn't easy training a horse. But be careful how much you jump and how high you jump a 4 year old. His bones muscles tendons etc aren't done growing and it's very easy to do damage to them. Saw one girl last year damage her 5 year olds ligament in its hind leg. It has been on stable rest for a year now and is still nowhere near being ridden yet.

Good luck with him though I am sure he will be fab.

Wow, looks more balanced and controlled than my 5yo this time last year ! Thinking about it, he's probably still better than my 6yo this year haha.

Thanks! He's getting there the cool little kid!
Lovely vid, your putting us to shame :D
Thankyou, Definatley not putting to shame! I am just on a lucky streak at the min. I'm sure i'll be eating sand shortly :P
Fabulous, he looks a lovely sort :)
Thankyou :)
He certainly looks like he's enjoying that - what a lovely boy!
Thanks! He was having a ball!

He looks very relaxed, and certainly seemed to enjoy that ! He looks like he has a comfy canter

My 4 yo jumped her first course last week away from home, and loved every minute of it. All of a sudden she's starting to look a bit more grown up. It's amazing how things can suddenly just click for them.

Well done, and look forward to more updates

Thanks! It's amazing isn't it. I absolutely love seeing them growing into themselves! He was hard work from the word go but over the last 2 maybe 3 weeks he's just accepted everything and really starting loving work and is the most willing horse I have at the min! Would love to see your 4yo :)
