Also in CR. What is the correct way to ride these?

Am I right in thinking that I should be changing the bend through the loop and therefore should change the diagonal in the trot??

Its in my dressage test for this afternoon and I'm having a bit of a blank brain day

Ride deep into the first corner, make either a 5m or a 10m pyramid with the highest point in line with E (or B

) and ride back the the corner, again ride into the corner properly. No need to change diagonals.

Hi Ali, yes you should be changing your bend if you are riding loops in walk or trot, If you can change diagonal neatly without your horse losing rhythm then do that too! Good luck, where are you off to? I'm going to Holt Farm today.

Hiya. I went to Chelsfield today to do Novice 33! We did well and came 2nd so was pleased. I stayed on the same diagonal throughout although despite riding my 10m loops as described above my loops were too small apparently

What is Holt Farm like? I may try and get there at some point

Holt's very friendly, warm up can be slippy but the arena has a new rubber surface which rides great! Are you a CBRC member? They have loads of dressage clinics coming up with good trainers, ie David Rumsey, Andrew Gould, Daniel Watson. They are held either at Foxhill or Fickleshole.
