Just so I don't have a heart attack on the phone tomorrow, what have people paid for 5 stage vettings?

I paid £160 for a 2 stage in Dorset last year so I'm anticipating around the £250 mark.....

Hoping it's not too much more!

Animed charge £249....

(99.9% sure that's what they quoted... (horse failed so only paid part vetting...) have a head full of cold, but I'm sure that's right)

Ah thanks Galaxy, was going to try them, am with a different local vet but haven't been filled with a lot of confidence in them after my old lad needed attention, so thought about ''shopping around'' so to speak.

ETA sorry your's failed - did you end up buying from Emma at Clip Clop or am I imagining that?

I've had all of their vets at some point. Good thing is even in emergency you ALWAYS get an equine vet (unlike some other practises in our area!). I always have Susannah unless it's an emergency and she's not on call. She's brilliant. Saw me through my old boys illness and was just great when he was PTS. she has 2 small children so only works 2 days a week, but even on her days off and given me help and advise on the phone. Trust her 100%!

I did end up buying a lovely mare from Emma (she didn't fail the vet!). Fab purchase!
