5 stage vetting x rays & Insurance Company HELP!!

here goes.......i'm really really stuck at what to do here!! I recently bought a horse had him 5 stage vetted & Xrays taken, the certificated noted a slight difference in size of his front feet but the xrays came back fine (according to the vet who vetted & Xrayed him) When coming to insure him the insurance company asked to see the Xrays which i sent and they have told me he has a broken back pastern axis and as such will not insure his front feet - this can be reviewed after a number of corrective shoeing & further Xrays.
I have contacted the vet who did the stage & xrays and he has spoken with his senior colleagues who do not agree with the insurance company, he has also called the insurance company to disagree with their suggestion The farrier has been twice & he didn't think that any work needed to be done on the feet either.... i have now received a letter from the vet (carried out the vetting & xrays) who has advised me that any corrective work would / could be detrimental to the horse and should not be carried out.....
I'm getting no where and now I'm more worried about what could happen if we start to mess with the natural balance of his feet...(aren't feet always slightly different sizes!?) Any advise would be greatly received - I'm so fed up & stuck as where to go.... Insurance don't seem to want to budge.. and the people who have seen the horse are adamant that they are right!!
Any suggestions!?
 
You should sent your vets letter to the insurance company, if they dont, just go and insure elsewhere.
 
go to another insurer and then if they agree with your vet then i would put in a formal complaint to original insurance company. good luck and hope your new horse is ok :)
 
Thanks - Yes i've sent the letter in today so i'll see what they come back with. i've also asked my vet to take a look at the xrays - if i have 2 vets saying the same thing then i don't think they will be able to dispute it. I'm really anoyed with them.... i don't want to start to mess with his feet if there is nothing wrong with them, which to be honest i don't think there is!! thanks for you help x
