Well I am very pleased to say that the only things wrong with the horse were a tiny cataract and being slightly older than originally thought. Her flexion tests and trot ups etc she passed with flying colours.

The vet was incredibly thorough and I told her about her being lame and her dermatitis. Not a problem. The vet that said she would be more prone to bruised soles because of her slightly flat front feet but that there was absolutely nothing wrong with her in that department. The fact that we live on flinty ground would almost certainly explain why she had had sore feet after Christmas.

The vet didn't, as the previous one had, suggest remedial shoeing or anything like that. She thought the horse was absolutely fine as she was and was more than capable of doing the job she was required for - hunting and pc eventing.

The fact that the purchasers didn't want her because of her cataract and age is beside the point!!

What a shame they decided not to purchase after her passing the vetting, would they consider buying her if the price was reduced a bit , as I know you wanted the stable and you seem to have been left to sort this out.
Hope she finds a nice home and glad there were no problems with her feet.

Good news she passed the flexions etc. What a shame about the cataract- it will devalue her sadly. How much older is she than you thought?

Well... the little pocket rocket might go hunting next week and then who knows?!! She'll still be for sale. Fingers crossed someone lovely wants her!!

Is she advertised anywhere? And do you have any more photos?
