I have Inkys teeth checked every 6 months. He last had them checked December and everything was ok. Now ive clipped him i can see he has what appears to be a tooth bump where his rear molars are. He is rising 5 this year. I thought at this age he would have been passed this stage??? Would this be anything to worry about or is it still normal for tooth bumps to appear at this age?

When my horse was 5 he still had problems with his teeh (- although he isn't a miniature). Equine dentist said it was quite normal as they are still young so I wouldn't worry!

On a separate note, not sure if you'l remember you replied to one of my post about mini rugs. Just to let you know I did get him and he is lovely, quite a cheeky character though!

My mare will be 6 in April and she has a toothy lump that was noted by the vet on Monday, she didn't seem to think it was problem.
