50% off horse feed

Wagtail - I am planning to feed my 17hh dressage horse for six months on 11 bags (4 balancer, 7 condition) so I am not sure where you get that one bag doesnt last a week per horse.

I think you two are probably talking at cross purposes. Yes, the balancer will last longer because it is a more concentrated feed and is designed to provide the necessary protein and micronutrients in a small daily feed (which is why the bag is more expensive than the others, because it is more concentrated). This is a good option for those horses that don't really need more calories in their diet than that provided by their existing forage.

However, if you feed the 'complete feeds', such as Pure Easy, Pure Condition etc., on their own alongside forage, then a significantly larger daily amount has to be fed to gain the necessary protein and micronutrients. This option is particularly suitable for those horses that need more calories than they can gain from forage and balancer alone.

Hi MiCsarah - Our Pure Easy is absolutely ideal for horses in rest or light work and of course, those who suffer from laminitis. As it is very low starch, has no added sugar or molasses and contains slow releasing energy in the form of oil, you can feed it to any horse or pony who is prone to developing this excruciating problem. It is fibre based and uniquely contains the wonderful additions of the highest quality amino acids and pre and probiotics for helping to ensure that the beneficial bacteria in the hind gut are functioning at the optimum population. Because Pure Easy includes our Pure Balance, it contains a wide spectrum of high specification vitamins and minerals too, so you can be safe in the knowledge that your horse or pony is getting the very best nutrition without posing a risk to those who are laminitis prone.

Hi TGM - Of course! The starch level is 6.3% and the sugar is 3.7% (from the grass chaff and grass pellets). BBH - If you click on the little 50% off icon on the left hand side of our Facebook page, it will take you to the code.
Thanks guys!

So how does your pure easy compare to something like happy hoof?

A quick comparison of some key aspects of both feeds:

Happy Hoof
8% protein
5% starch, 4% sugar
8.8 MJDE/kg
Recommended feeding rate for 500kg horse - 3kg a day

Pure Easy
10.8% protein
6.3% starch, 3.7% sugar
10.5 MJDE/kg
Recommended feeding rate for 500kg horse - 2 - 2.5kg a day

Ive had my ten bags of PF Racing! Wonderful company so far, cannot rate highly enough!

The difference in my 5 yr old's energy levels in just a week is AMAZING!

Spillers Instant Response, and other competition mix's that i have tried have not made even a small amount of difference, and nor has the propell that he has been on for over a month.

Hi lyndsayberesford - That is praise indeed! So glad to hear that you and Basil love the Pure Racing so much. Please keep us informed, we love to hear how our Pure Feeders are getting on. You can even post a picture on our Facebook page if you like :) and then you and Basil can become Pure Feed celebrities!

Just applied the code to 66 bags and it gave a discount on all 66 yet the maximum is 10? I have not put the order through though for two reasons, one, paypal - comes straight out of my account and we normally get 6 weeks credit on account with my current supplier, so it will mess up my accounts (sadly), and two, not sure whether the total giving the half price on all bags is correct. :o
