50g liner or equivalent?

Invested in a liner system rug which has been great over the winter but now temps have increased horse (although fully clipped) is getting a bit on the warmer side of comfortable in his l/w outer and 100g liner (quite a hot boy naturally) however with all this rain i've found if I leave the liner out the wet rug clings and he's not warm enough! Ideally I need a 50g liner or equivalent.. any ideas? The only thing i've found is a Bucas stable rug but it's pretty pricey - I don't want anything with the potential to rub either as not ideal for showing. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
 
Never seen a liner that light. I’ve got a swish 50g turnout which is pretty good. Or maybe put a fleece in underneath but it might stretch.
 
I'm looking for one too for the same reason as OP. I emailed Premier Equine recently but was told they had no intention of producing one. Shame really as I'm sure there would be a good market for them.
 
Not found a liner, no but I did buy a PE 50g this year and have found it great for keeping my also clipped-but-hot horse just right. He's out from 7am until about 4pm.

I think I only teamed it up with the 100g liner on 3 days and that was during the cold over the last few weeks. I know they're not cheap and I know not everyone likes them but personally I think it's been worth it.

I bought the Shires 50g. Very handy and they fit nicely. I've had no rubbed shoulders but one horse trashed his within a week! I bought 3 and the others are ok but the horses are very good with rugs so can't vouch for how tough they are (only 600d)
 
I have a large number of PE liners. The 100gms once older compress to being little more than thin sheets. An older liner from ebay would probably be fine.
 
Swish equestrian are the only company I've found that do 50g stable rugs (I've been looking) but they're a bit pricey :-/
