I'm 5'6", and sometimes ride a 12'2 dartmoor :)

What he lacks in height he makes up for in width, and he's happy hooleying around with me all day. If you're happy, and he's happy, who cares!

I'm 5'10" and used to regularly do endurance rides on my friends 14hh (maybe 14.1hh on tip toes) connemara - he was of a chunky build, but we did fine together and didnt look odd, so i'm sure you'd be fine.

I'm only 4'11" (teeny) and I ride a 13/13.1 very comfortably. I often get comments how small I am as he takes a lot of my leg up :) Don't ask about my 14.3, she's really deep through the girth and I only just reach the right spot :D

Regardless of what I look like, I simply prefer a pony to a biggun!! Haha.

Maybe Ive been shopping in all the wrong places......?

Im 5'7" and a bit, and assumed I should look for 15.2 plus, but, what the hey..... I've just added 14.2-15.1 into the margins.....! :)

I'm 5'9" and my tallest horse is 15.1, but my WIDEST is only 14.2 and none of 'em either look weird or have any problems carrying my height/bulk (no longer a sylph).
