I've been trying to find a 5ft heavyweight combo turnout in the £40 price range, lots of Rhinegold ones on ebay but all starting at 5'3"... tried equestrian cleanrance and quite a few others.. but only £60 ish ones.....Any one seen any while doing your Christmas shoppping please?

( and why is it a 5ft rug costs the same as a 7ft rug....???!!)

What weight do you want?
I bought a brilliant m/w 5'0 for £40 off ebay, funny thing was the heavyweights went cheaper as they had less bids!! The make is maxima and they are lovely rugs, I bought 2 - one for pony and one for my big girl!
 
I have seen them but I was slightly wary as no experience of the brand...I have bought another one of the cheaper brands off ebay before and quality was terrible, even for the cheap price!
I'll go an have 2nd look, thank you..
 
Fairly sure it was "Premier" or "Premium"... the outer material may have been the denier they said.... but seemed to rip very easily, fittings were not great and overall was badly cut and skimpy..( which is what has put me off the ultra cheap end of the market) but this rug is needed for a very slender small pony who needs wrapping up well.

TBH £40 is the ultra cheap end of the market for what you are looking for, I think you may need to up your budget slightly if you want the rug to last or look at buying one 2nd hand.

Have you looked at Derby house or Robinsons own brand rugs, Derby house had 20% of theirs this weekend and I think Robinsons has free postage at the moment.
 
I know its a bit of a bargin price, but been happy with the Rhinegolds at that sort of money, and would pay little more if necessary, but its actually finding someone who has 5'0 in stock that has been the greatest issue...have tried both DH and Robinsons...
