Would have preferred a little more even but she has been a clumsy arse pupster with a few nasty falls so still happy.

I'm glad you 2 think its good, I posted it on FB and got a slating about them being uneven

Great, well done. FGS they're not exactly hugely uneven are they, what did they want 4.5:4.5! Some people are just picky. Let me guess which dog you AREN'T going to be using on her.

Ets. I had a bitch who scored 22:4. Both vet and Dr Willis were of the opinion that the high score was traumatic, and advised me to mate her (she had low scoring ancestors). All her progeny who were scored were under 15, and one was the top police dog in the West Mid force.

Well its obvious one hip is ever so slightly worse than the other, but when they can only give whole points then that means double the score on the other hip doesn't it! When they have given 1 mark for the left for the first 3 points, the right one may only be ever so slightly different (like 1/10th worse) and they have to give a mark of 2 instead of 1....I'm certainly not worried about it, it may or may not be due to trauma but whatever would prefer 6-3 to 6-6 and 6-6 would still be ok so I think they are just trying to be difficult!!! I must ask them later if they would prefer her to be 6-6 scored for the sake of eveness!!

Thanks for sharing my joy and not p***ing on on my fire!!!

If you feel like you have a valid point for p***ing on it though, please go ahead!

I have to say, it is a relief, particularly after the week I've had...among other issues I had the vet here most of the day yesterday and again last night for my best mare who had colic and back again today for young lad who has apparently done his SI

When it arrived in the post I have to admit to sitting looking at it for at least ten minutes before opening because I wasn't sure I could take any more bad news this week!

It's hip score from an x-ray of the dog's hips, JD - one hip scored six, the other three, with a total score of nine.
The lowest possible score is 0:0 which is hip dysplasia free, although a score of nine is pretty much negligible.

Ah sorry have been at ringcraft class with the little darling this evening...thanks for explaining CC, and thanks JD.
